ふじひとつうづみのこしてわかばかなFuji hitotsu uzumi nokoshite wakaba kana
“The young leaves have buried everything — except, alone, Mount Fuji.”

Spring's green tide covers the whole country; only the great mountain shows. What is truly high is recognized when everything else is submerged.
